As you may
have read in my previous post I am from today a member of Deauty. A little
later than expected I could open my first Deautybox after my New York trip. I
must admit that my curiosity was too high so I already peeped online at other
boxes before opening mine.
It is a
special box because Deauty is one year and all subscribers receive a nice
anniversary box with some flowers as a bonus (contents list of seeds). I'm very
curious about the flowers which will occur!

Besides the
products is also a flyer in which you can pick up ,upon reservation, a complimentary shower gel of Bioderma at an
IU branch. I already applied for mine!
L'Oréal Professional Mythic Oil Shampoo (fullsize 250 ml for €15.20)
This
shampoo is part of the Mythic Oil range of L'Oreal. The range represents a
unique care without paraben inspired by oriental beauty rituals. The
combination of argan oil and cottonseed oil ensure that your hair will shine
again and makes it soft.
This sounds
good so I'm looking forward to the result. I have difficult hair so I’m always
suspicious of products with such a beautiful promise. I currently use the four steps
program of Pantene and I am very enthusiastic
about it so the expectations are high :-).
Garnier Perfect Blur (Fullsize 50 ml for €10.99)
This primer
makes the skin frosted, tight and bright. You use them preferably after
moisturizer and before makeup. The product promises a reduction and distortion
of the visible signs of aging and this within five seconds.
Bioderma Sensibio H20 (fullsize 100ml for €9.20)
Again a
very popular product among many bloggers which also arouses my curiosity. You
use this Bioderma cleanser combined with a cotton pad to clean your face.
(Including eyes). Bioderma is a pioneer
in meicellar (= cleaning without water) solutions. This cleaner is especially
designed for sensitive skin because it contains no soap, perfume or alcohol.
For the
moment I use a cleanser combined with an eye cleaner from Nivea. I always felt
that my face was not thoroughly cleaned and it was difficult to clean my eyes
after wearing heavy make-up. So I am
certainly looking forward to use this product.
Avril Blush (fullsize for €2.00)
I always have
"a rosy glow" on my cheek so I rarely or never use blush. I don’t
know the brand Avril so it’s nice to be able to discover something new and
maybe I will start to use a little more blush on my cheeks :-). The color is peachy
/ pink with a golden shine and it looks very natural.
Maybelline Babylips (fullsize for €3.99)
I didn’t
knew this lip balm but read many praising reviews about it. The product is well
known and loved in the USA. The packaging is very colorful and there are
different versions. I found the blue lip balm in my package. There are a total
of five variants:
- Blue
"hydrate" with lemon and basil scent
- Green
"freshen" with mint odor
- Yellow
"repair" with cherry and almond scent
- Orange
"cherry me" with cherry scent (tan)
- Pink
"pink punch" with passion fruit scent (tan)
Besides the
most common ingredients like aloe vera, shea butter ... you can find a Centalla
Asiatica extract in this balm. This is a powerful herb that grows mainly in
India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Indonesia, Iran and other parts of Asia. In these
areas it is recognized and used for centuries for its natural healing powers.
There is
also an SPF20 in (except for the pink "Pink Punch") so your lips are additional
protected from the sun as well.
The lip
balm promises an 8 hour long protection and hydration of the lips.
I must
admit I was a bit disappointed when I opened my Deautybox. I had already read
on other blogs that there was a full size lipstick Clinique enclosed and I was
very curious about this one. Unfortunately this was not in my box but in return
I did receive a sample of the new perfume by Jeanne en Provence. I do not know
the brand and it doesn’t appeal to me.
But maybe I can make someone else happy with this one J.
